We are proud to have earned the Community Supporting Breastfeeding Designation from the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition! We look forward to earning the Plus Designation in the near future!
Our Community Initiatives
We are dedicated to normalizing breastfeeding and providing expert education to every family in Johnson County.
Access to Human Milk Through Milk Depots
We support donor human milk for use in our hospital settings to ensure the most fragile members of our community receive the highest quality of nutrition. Johnson County has numerous milk depots to collect human milk for our community.Â
We provided breastfeeding education and materials to childcare providers so they could become a breastfeeding friendly child care provider to better serve their families.
